How do I register my new Rugged Trailer?
Your trailer will arrive with a Manufacturer’s Certificate of Origin (MCO) and a paid bill of sale. These documents are needed for registration. Take those documents to your state’s Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV), Registry of Motor Vehicles, or other designated office. The office will process your trailer registration, issue license plates (if required), and collect any applicable fees.
How do I pay for my new trailer?
We offer flexible options to make your purchase easy. A 25% deposit is required to begin building your custom trailer, and the remaining balance must be paid before your trailer ships. This allows us to include all necessary paperwork (MCO and Bill of Sale) with your delivery.
Can I customize my trailer beyond the options on your website?
We offer a wide range of standard customization options directly on our website. These include choices for size, rails, ramps, accessories, and more, allowing you to tailor your trailer to your exact needs. To provide the best value for most customers, we don’t typically offer customizations beyond those listed. However, if you have a large volume or commercial order, we may be able to accommodate additional customization requests. Contact us to discuss your specific needs!
How do I best secure my trailer when it’s not in use?
For the most effective security, use a coupler lock to prevent your trailer from being towed away. Our trailers use a Demco coupler, so a compatible Demco lock offers a secure fit. For an added layer of protection, you can also use a wheel lock to deter quick movement. Consider storing your trailer in a secure, well-lit area when possible.
Can I buy a Rugged Trailer from a local dealer?
