Rugged sells new physical trailers made to the customer-approved configuration. Here is when the 25% order deposit can be refunded, what cannot be returned, and how to contact the factory.

The 25% order deposit remains refundable until you approve the final written Build Order. Call Rugged before approval to cancel. We confirm eligibility and submit the refund to the original payment method; your bank or card issuer controls when the credit appears.
Rugged shows required changes in a new written revision. A higher approved total requires your explicit authorization for the difference. If the approved 25% target is lower, Rugged refunds the excess to the original payment method.
Once you approve the final written Build Order, the order deposit becomes non-refundable and production may begin. The remaining 75% is due before factory pickup or Rugged Home Delivery.

The amount due today is a 25% refundable order deposit. It remains refundable until you approve the final written Build Order. Rugged reviews the submitted configuration before approval; required changes are shown in a new written revision. A higher approved total requires your explicit authorization for the difference. If the approved 25% target is lower, Rugged refunds the excess to the original payment method.
Legacy policy archive
A customer who paid the earlier $250 online reservation keeps the terms accepted at checkout: it remains refundable until final written Build Order approval and is credited toward the 25% production deposit. That archived policy took effect August 21, 2026.
Each trailer is manufactured to the configuration you approve. Completed trailers cannot be returned or exchanged after you accept delivery. Defects are handled under Rugged's five-year structural warranty.
