The refundable order deposit
The amount due today is a 25% refundable order deposit. It remains refundable until you approve the final written Build Order. Rugged reviews the submitted configuration before approval; required changes are shown in a new written revision. A higher approved total requires your explicit authorization for the difference. If the approved 25% target is lower, Rugged refunds the excess to the original payment method.
Rugged review and written revisions
The online configuration is not the final Build Order. Rugged reviews the submitted build, delivery method, and current commercial details before asking you to approve a final written revision.
No query parameter, browser total, archived build, or payment return page is proof that an order is approved or in production.
Your approval controls production
Nothing enters production until you explicitly approve the final written Build Order. If a revision raises the approved total, Rugged asks you to authorize the difference. If the approved 25% target is lower, Rugged refunds the excess to the original payment method.
Remaining balance and fulfillment
The remaining 75% balance is due before factory pickup or Rugged Home Delivery. Tax, title, registration, and related state fees remain your responsibility where applicable.
Rugged coordinates final documents and the pickup or delivery handoff after the order reaches the applicable approval and payment milestones.
