Reservation & Purchase Terms

These Reservation & Purchase Terms explain the online build reservation and the steps that follow before a custom trailer enters production, is completed, and is shipped.

Your exact trailer configuration, options, accessories, delivery charge, and price are confirmed during the sales review. The approved build and price control if they differ from an earlier website estimate.

The online reservation charge is $500, processed securely through Stripe. It starts Rugged's review of your saved configuration; it does not release the trailer to production.

A Rugged sales specialist will call within two business days to review the build, recommend any changes, answer questions, and confirm the exact build and price.

Pricing may change until the $500 reservation is placed. The reservation and its quoted price are valid for five business days. If the order has not moved to the 25% production deposit within that window, Rugged may cancel the reservation and the price may need to be reconfirmed.

If the build changes during the sales review, Rugged will review the revised configuration and exact revised price before asking for approval.

Your $500 reservation remains fully refundable until both you approve the exact written Build Order and your settled payments reach 25% of the approved order total. Call Rugged to cancel before both commitment conditions are complete.

Once you approve the exact build and the total amount paid reaches 25%, the amount paid becomes non-refundable and the order may be released to production. Any later refund or cancellation is at Rugged's discretion.

The $500 reservation is credited toward the 25% production deposit. You pay only the remaining amount needed to bring the total paid to 25%.

The production deposit is calculated from the trailer, selected options and accessories, and delivery. Taxes and title, registration, or other DMV, RMV, or town-hall fees that you pay directly are excluded, except when Rugged is legally required to collect a charge.

Rugged does not offer discounts. The approved build and price reflect the amount required for that order.

Production begins only after you approve the exact revised build and price and the total amount paid reaches the 25% production deposit. Requested changes can affect the final configuration and price and must be reflected in the approved build.

When the trailer is complete, Rugged sends private photos of the actual trailer so you can review the completed build. After that review, the final balance is due before Rugged prepares the manufacturer's certificate of origin and bill of sale or releases the trailer for shipment.

After final payment is verified, Rugged coordinates the delivery date and time and ships the trailer with the applicable purchase documents.
